![]() ![]() The South African Revenue Services (SARS) and SA Regulations SA traders face a unique set of regulations when it comes to FX trading, different to those in effect in Europe, Australia, Asia and beyond. It is a developing nation, with incredible potential on an economic front. South Africa is considered an emerging market economy, and part of the BRICS (Brazil Russia, India, China, and South Africa) countries. FX traders have increasingly sought out South Africa as one of their preferred currency trading destinations, what with fundamental economic strength, and a huge domestic economy. A large global network of buyers and sellers engages in FX trades on a daily basis. The global FX market is currently worth an estimated $5 trillion per day, and South Africa certainly chips in with its share of the currency trading market. As Africa’s powerhouse, FX trading is high on the agenda for South African traders. It is a multicultural melting pot bustling with diversity and economic activity. South Africa is a beacon of hope for the African continent, and the world at large. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() It was connected to the computer using a spiraled cable similar to the ones used by telephones. In Figure 2, we compare the Macintosh Plus to a 21-inch LCD monitor.įigure 2: The Macintosh Plus compared to a 21-inch LCD monitorĭifferently from the Apple II and Apple III, the keyboard was not part of the body of the computer. Nowadays, the first thing you will notice looking at the Macintosh Plus is how small it was. However, in January 1987, its color was changed to the light gray color (called “platinum”) that Apple started using on its computers from then on. Originally, the Macintosh Plus was released in yellow, just like the Macintosh 128K and the Macintosh 512K. The Macintosh Plus came with an 800 kB 3.5” floppy disk drive. The first models of the Macintosh 512K (part number “M0001W”) also used a 400 kB 3.5” floppy disk drive, but later models (part numbers “M0001E” and “M0001D”) used an 800 kB 3.5” floppy disk drive. The Macintosh 128K used a 400 kB 3.5” floppy disk drive. In fact, in January 1988, Apple released models of the Macintosh Plus with 2 MB or 4 MB of RAM.Īnother difference between the three models was with the floppy disk drive. However, while the first two models didn’t allow the user to add more memory, the Macintosh Plus uses SIMM-30 memory modules, allowing users to expand the memory up to 4 MB, as we will explain. ![]() The main difference between the three models is the amount of RAM (128 KB, 512 KB or 1 MB). They were all based on the Motorola 68000 microprocessor, which was one of the most powerful CPUs available at the time, and had a 9-inch black-and-white video monitor with a resolution of 512 x 342 integrated on the computer’s body. Thus, we can consider these three models as the first generation of Macintosh computers. The original Macintosh (Macintosh 128K), the Macintosh 512K, and the Macintosh Plus had the same basic design. ![]() ![]() ![]()
![]() However, I found no way that works more seamlessly for my own workflow than the method I will describe below. There is a way to easily use the same Lightroom catalog on multiple computers using Dropbox.īefore I go on, there might be other ways to do this using the build in sync or other methods. ![]() That why I set up my Lightroom to be accessed on both of my computers. Sometimes, when I am editing a wedding or sessions, I would much rather sit on the couch, turn on a movie or show, and edit in a more comfortable setting. I want the ability to take my Lightroom catalog with me if I am working from the studio, or on vacation, or on a plane. But sometimes I would like to have a little more freedom as to where I can work. Why would you want to do this? For me, I do the bulk of my editing at my desk using my iMac. It doesn’t involve using external hard drives or syncing collections with Adobe Cloud. ![]() Have you ever wanted to use Lightroom Classic on two computers? There’s actually a super easy way to do this. ![]() ![]() ![]() The primary such organism is the cyanobacteria, a tiny bacterium that, like plants, absorbs light through photosynthesis. How exactly these birds, bats and other animals died is not known. ![]() This alkalinity preserves these creatures for eternity. Nick Brandt writes in his new book that the petrified creatures around the lake are preserved thanks to a constant pH of 9 to 10.5. The consequences of this rare chemical phenomenon were reflected by photographer Nick Brandt in his book "On the Torn Land". A rare occurrence caused by the lake's chemical composition, which leaves behind a horror-movie-like petrified creature. ![]() On the territory of Tanzania, there is Lake Natron, the waters of which contain substances that contribute not only to the death of animals that touch the surface of the reservoir, but also to their petrification. In addition to the bones, the "salted" feathers of the dead bird have been preserved. ![]() ![]() We can create a MitM attack by “ARP Poisoning.” Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a layer 3 network protocol used by computers to resolve MAC addresses to IP addresses. For example, common MitM attacks will sit between a host and the gateway that sits between the network and the Internet. ![]() In other words, you can sit in between two hosts on your local network. This will allow me to see the target’s Web traffic.Ĭonducting MitM attacks are illegal unless you have permission from the owner of the network and the parties involved. In this demonstration, I’ll be sitting in between a target device and the router/gateway on a private network using Cain & Abel. Pentesters may not always be authorized to perform this type of attack because it may overreach the scope of the assessment and has obvious issues regarding privacy concerns. Furthermore, the man-in-the-middle attack is often the initiator for more dangerous attacks. ![]() With this attack, the hacker possesses the ability to capture personal identifiable information, login credentials, decrypt information, and so on. The attacker cannot only see the communication traveling to-and-from the victim devices, but can also inject his own malicious traffic. ![]() It can be thought of as active eavesdropping. A man-in-the-middle attack occurs when an attacker sits in the middle of the communication between two victim devices, secretly relaying information back and forth on their behalf, similar to a proxy. ![]() ![]() ![]() We do not recommend using JPEG files for rasterized vector art, as the compression artifacts substantially degrade the quality of the image near edges. Second, you can “print” them to a OneNote or Evernote notebook instead of to a physical printer. First, you can forward them to an email address, so you could set up mail rules to forward selected emails to OneNote or Evernote. Otherwise, both programs allow you add emails to your notebooks by almost identical means. even had a “ save to OneNote” feature that made it easier to file emails with other data, but it has gone missing – temporarily, I hope – from the latest version. ![]() These are about as close as you can get to a “paperless office”, at least for a sufficiently small office. The leading examples are Evernote and Microsoft’s OneNote. However, he’d still have to use different programs to access some different types of data.Īn interesting alternative is to store everything in a sort of portmanteau program that will also help organise it. ![]() The simplest way to do this is to upload project folders to an online storage service such as Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive or whatever. If your dad wants to access his files from anywhere with a smartphone or a tablet, then he will probably need to put copies online. (Always include a job number in emails if a project involves working with different people in different companies.) OneNote and Evernote In any case, you can usually find the same emails by looking in a mail folder, or by searching for an email address or a job number. This works for a small number of emails, but – as you have found – it’s too much work to handle all emails that way. You can, of course, save emails as text files or PDFs and add them to project folders. Whether it’s worth adding emails is another matter, and I don’t think many people bother. ![]() |
